Library cards are free to all residents of Owen County, age 14 and up.
To get your library card bring a photo ID and, if your ID does NOT show your current address, a piece of mail with your name and current address postmarked within the last 30 days.
If you have had a library card in Owen County in the past you may have old fines to pay, or your address may need to be updated, so be sure to bring your proof of address even if you think you've had a card previously.

Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, with proof of address in Owen County, to obtain a card. Children are allowed to check out 10 items at a time, and are NOT allowed to check out DVD's or video games.
